We collect the following categories of information:

• Account information: your name, email address, and a securely hashed password.
• Content you provide: resumes you upload or build, job postings you paste or import, company names, and answers you submit during interview practice.
• Generated content: tailored resumes, cover letters, company insights, interview questions, roadmaps, and practice feedback created for you.
• Usage data: actions you take in the app, such as applications created and features used, to operate plan limits and improve the Service.
• Audio: if you use voice practice, the audio you record is sent for transcription and is not stored after transcription completes.

• To provide and operate the Service, including generating tailored documents and interview prep.
• To authenticate you and keep your account secure.
• To enforce plan limits and, in the future, to process payments.
• To maintain, troubleshoot, and improve the Service.
• To communicate with you about your account or important changes.

To deliver core features, we send the relevant content (such as your resume text and the job posting) to trusted third party providers that process it on our behalf:

• Anthropic (Claude): generates tailored resumes, cover letters, company insights, interview questions, and practice feedback.
• OpenAI (Whisper): transcribes your voice recordings into text when you use voice practice.
• Job search provider: when you search for jobs, your search terms are sent to a third party job listings provider to return results.

These providers process your data only to perform the requested task. We do not sell your personal information, and we do not use your content to train our own models.

Your data is stored in a secured database. Passwords are stored only as salted hashes and are never kept in plain text. We use reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect your information. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute security.

We retain your account and content for as long as your account is active. You can delete individual applications at any time, and you can request deletion of your account and associated data by contacting us. Some records may be retained as required to comply with legal obligations.

Depending on where you live, you may have the right to access, correct, export, or delete your personal information. You can update your content in the app, delete applications directly, or contact us to exercise any of these rights.

We use browser local storage to keep you signed in and to remember basic preferences. We do not use third party advertising trackers.

The Service is not intended for anyone under the age of 16, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children.

If you access the Service from outside the country where our infrastructure is located, your information may be transferred to and processed in other countries that may have different data protection laws.

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we do, we will revise the "Last updated" date above. Significant changes will be communicated through the Service.
